Smart Meter Procurement Information

Kansai Electric Power has been promoting the introduction of smart meters since 2008. Starting in fiscal 2013, with the aim of further reducing the procurement cost for the unit type smart meters used by the company, we have been regularly conducting a comprehensive program for obtaining competitive estimates. Information about this year’s program for smart meter procurement is provided below.

Qualifications

If the described conditions are not met, applications may not be accepted.

How to apply

  • 01. Required documents
    • (1) Application form
    • (2) Technical application form
    • (3) Contract
    • (4) Latest company profile, securities report, financial statements (equivalent) for two terms
    • (5) Power of attorney from the manufacturer (only if participating as a distributor)

    * If participating as a distributor, (3) and (4) must be submitted from both the distributor and the manufacturer.

  • 02. Application procedure
    Please submit documents by postal mail

    * If close to the submission deadline, copies (in PDF format) of the material may be submitted by e-mail to arrive before the deadline. The original documents must then be sent promptly by postal mail.
