Actual Supply/Demand Data for Kansai Area

Based on “Disclosure Policy of System Information” released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, actual data about electric power supply and demand in the Kansai area are made available publicly.

Area supply/demand results

Conditions

  • Supply/demand results are published on a monthly basis.
  • For example, data marked “Actual 9:00” give the average power for the time slot from 9:00 to 10:00.
  • The power generation data are preliminary data which may include estimated results.
  • Published data may be corrected at a later time.
  • Please note that no special notice will be given when past data are corrected.
  • Specifications for the CSV data may be changed without notice.
  • Some totals may show slight discrepancies due to rounding.
  • “Thermal power” includes LNG/LPG, coal, petroleum, mixed-fuel biomass, and others whose power supply type is unknown.
  • “Hydropower” does not include pumped storage.
  • “Pumped storage” is the sum of the power generated (added) and the power used for pumping (subtracted).
  • “Solar power” and “Area demand” do not include the data for domestic solar power consumption. (The domestic consumption is factored in as a reduction of demand.)
