Security Camera Installation Service
Kansai Transmission and Distribution offers the Security Camera Installation Service to municipalities interested in installing security cameras on electric poles and other locations for deterring crime in a community.
Overview of the Service
Kansai Transmission and Distribution purchases and installs security cameras on behalf of municipalities and other organizations on electric poles and other structures. We also perform the necessary maintenance after installation, and handle all the necessary applications and other procedures required for installation.
Features of the Service
Choose from local-storage or network-connected security cameras to buy or lease. For more information, refer to the table below.
Local-storage cameras
Video must be downloaded on-site for review. Local-storage cameras generally cost less than network-connected cameras.
Network-connected cameras
Video can be reviewed remotely, making it possible to obtain video in less time than local-storage cameras in the event of an emergency. Network-connected security cameras are generally more expensive than local-storage cameras, and cloud storage requires additional costs.
